This is the part of my blog that relates to Creativity, Action, and Service. The IBO's emphasis has changed to journalling reflection and self-awareness of my development over the twenty months of the IB Diploma from simply documenting 150 hours of effort - which, working it out, is only a couple of hours a week on average, and a lot of it can be done in the long summer vacation in the middle of the course.

To succeed in this aspect of the IB you have to plan and initiate activities in order to undertake new challenges, some of which should involve engagement in global issues (even if you act locally), working collaboratively with others and showing perseverance in developing new skills, while considering the ethical ramifications of your efforts, thereby increasing your self-awareness. Easy, isn't it?
